A Hometown Run is more than a 5K. It is a morning where schools, families, churches, local businesses, city leaders, youth teams, walkers, runners, and neighbors all show up together.

And it gives every town a signature event to rally around.

The very first Hometown Run will take place in Powder Springs, Georgia.
The Powder Springs Hometown Run is being built around the people who already make this community special. Run, walk, cheer, sponsor or volunteer - just be part of the city's new tradition.
Race Day Schedule
7:00-7:55 Registration/Packet Pickup
7:45 Opening Ceremony & Warm up
8:00 Race Start
9:00 Award Ceremony
8:00 -11:00 Race Celebration
Finishers will receive a T-Shirt and Finisher’s medal. Register by October 10th to select your shirt color and guarantee your size.
Award Categories: Overall Male and Female. Top 3 Male and Female - 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Non-School based awards:
Team Champion (Lowest average time - Minimum Team Size is 4 - form your team). Yes, you can have your team and still represent the high school in the area. You'll have a chance to be counted for both.
